I'm soooo jealous.

Damn! I missed the show. I'll be there on Saturday night for my friend Ed Gray's CD release party, though.

Clarification: Between "First Night" and "Killer Parties," the band played one of the outtakes from the new album's sessions, the brief song "You Gotta Dance (With Who You Came to the Dance With)."

This track, among the other session outtakes are available at Denver-based I Am Fuel, You Are Friends here.

Since I didn't get any pictures, here's some from a show at Maxwell's last month. The space is similarly sized to the Picador.

And just a few days before they played Iowa City, this dude taped a very similar set in Tallahassee.

T, sorry Bob and I missed you. We were by the right wall, about 30 feet from the stage. I think we were standing by the band's music cases, so we had a nice little buffer zone. Good write up yourself, it really was a great show and I'm still buzzing from it. I need to get Almost Killed Me (I have the other two CDs).

  • Welcome to Creekside Review. There's no creek anymore and the reviews are really more often just recommendations, but thanks for stopping by, anyway. If you're the copyright owner of any files I'm hosting and want them removed, just let me know. I limit the amount I share and only share in the hopes that someone else will buy. But if you've got a better marketing strategy that doesn't include me, that's cool, too. Just gotta let me know.
